As the European Commission develops its VAT in the Digital Age legislative agenda, EuroCommerce and Ecommerce Europe invite interested parties to a roundtable on the Single EU VAT Registration concept. Mr De Winter, Deputy Head of VAT Unit, European Commission, will provide an update on the European Commission's progress with its VAT in the Digital Age initiative, focusing in on the place of Single EU VAT registration within the wider program, which includes digital reporting and VAT rules for the platform economy. - Panel discussion, including audience Q&A

— Deputy Head of VAT Unit, European Commission Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union (TAXUD)Mr De Winter is a leader in the European Commission's VAT Unit. He was one of the architects of the VAT e-Commerce package and is presently one of the driving forces behind the EC's VAT in the Digital Age initiative.

— Policy officer - VAT legislation, European Commission Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union (TAXUD)As policy officer in the EC's VAT Unit, Ms Walckiers is project leader for the Single VAT Registration part of the VAT in Digital age initiative. This follows her work implementing the eCommerce VAT Package and closely monitoring its application.
